Plane games unblocked: free in your browser
Looking for plane games unblocked on a school or work laptop? The problem is almost never the game. It is that most flying games want you to download something, and a managed laptop will not let you.
Every game here runs in the browser tab you already have open. No download, no launcher, no sign-up, and no app store.
Skimloft — a plane with no engine
Skimloft is our own, and it is not like the others. Your plane has no engine. None. There is no throttle and no button that makes you go faster for free.
Height is the only fuel you have, and flying forwards spends it. The ground is always slowly coming up to meet you. The only way to get height back is to find air that is going up faster than you are coming down — and on a sunny day, real air does exactly that.
You can see it. Specks of dust drift with the air, so where they float upwards, the air is rising. Slow down inside a rising band and you climb. Race through it and you get almost nothing.
One control. Hold the top of the screen to lift the nose, let go to drop it. That is the entire game. It works with one finger on a phone and with the arrow keys on a laptop, and there is nothing to learn before your first flight.
The score is how far you got. There is a sky for today that everyone gets, so you and a friend can fly exactly the same air and compare.
What else is worth playing
If you want more from us, the same “no download, no account” rule covers everything on Playpit:
- Starskip — fling a star around planets and sink it in as few shots as you can. Not a plane, but the same feeling of working with a force instead of against it.
- Chalkwick — trick-shot pool in rooms that will not stay rectangles.
- Butterslip — a sliding puzzle that is much harder than it looks.
You can see everything we have made on the front page.
Why “unblocked” games are usually just browser games
School networks normally block two things: installing programs, and a list of known game websites. There is nothing clever about getting round the first one — a game that runs in a browser never installs anything, so there is nothing to block.
Which means the honest advice is: look for browser games, not for “unblocked” ones. A game that loads in a tab and saves in that tab is doing nothing your laptop objects to.
If a site is blocked by name, that is your network’s list and not something a game can fix. We would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise.
What makes a good plane game in a browser
Having looked at a lot of them, three things separate the good ones:
It has to be playable in three seconds. The most common failure in flying games is controls you have to study. A game that needs a tutorial before it is fun has already lost most of its players.
It has to work with a finger. A lot of flight games are ports of desktop games and never got touch controls that make sense. If there is no on-screen way to fly it, it is a desktop game pretending.
It should teach you something true. The flying games worth remembering behave like real aircraft, even when they are cartoons — dive and you gain speed, pull up and you trade that speed back for height.
Quick answers
Are these plane games really free? Yes. Nothing to buy, nothing to unlock, no account.
Do they work on a phone? Skimloft does, and it was designed for a thumb first.
Do I need to download anything? No. They load in the browser tab.
Will my progress save? It saves in that browser, on that device. There is no login.
