Welcome to Playpit. These terms are short because the deal is simple: we make original games, you play them for free.
Playing
Playpit's games are free to play in your browser for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. No account is needed or offered. Don't attempt to disrupt the site, probe or overload it, or interfere with other people playing.
Our games are originals
Every game, name, artwork, sound, and piece of code on Playpit is original work owned by Playpit (or used under an open license with attribution). Playpit is not affiliated with, and its games are not versions of, any other company's games. You may not copy, redistribute, re-host, or sell our games or assets. Embedding or syndicating a Playpit game elsewhere requires our written permission — ask us; we're friendly.
Sharing is encouraged
Screenshots, videos, streams, and share links (like Bloomstead postcards) of our games are yours to post anywhere, monetized or not. A link back to playpit.fun is appreciated but not required.
Saves live in your browser
Game progress is stored on your own device. We can't recover it if you clear your browser data or switch devices — deterministic world seeds are portable, but your edits are yours alone. Back up anything you love.
No warranty
The games are provided "as is", for fun. We work hard to keep everything running smoothly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service and aren't liable for lost saves, downtime, or anything beyond what the law requires. Playpit may update, change, or retire games at any time.
